Grant spent three seasons with the Griffins. He was used primarily as an infielder that was spread all across the diamond, including a few stints as a catcher. Grant’s average fielding percentage over three seasons was .971.

Grant was very productive at the plate for the Griffins. In 2021, he held a .386 batting average. In 2022, Grant finished the season with an impressive .398 batting average with 10 home runs and 53 runs batted in. He was the team’s leader in OPS (1.135), on base percentage (.489), and hits (90).

In 2023, Grant continued the offensive success. He hit two runs while driving in 28 runs. Another interesting statistic that Grant achieved was finishing 15-15 in stolen base attempts.

Thus far, Alabama head coach Rob Vaughn has brought in five transfers. Rutgers transfer outfielder Evan Sleight, Maryland transfer outfielder Ian Petrutz, Wofford transfer outfielder Coulson Buchanan, Ole Miss transfer outfielder TJ McCants, and Ole Miss transfer catcher Will Plattner.

Roll Tide Wire will continue to follow the Alabama baseball program and its involvement in the NCAA transfer portal.
