Browns swap out linebackers on 90-man roster in latest move

The Browns have made one small move in their linebacker room

The Cleveland Browns made one small roster move on Wednesday, waiving linebacker Brandon Bouyer-Randle with an injury designation and signing another linebacker in Marvin Moody to take his place on the 90-man roster.

Moody, however, did not play a documented snap of football from his last year at Tulane in 2021 until joining the UFL’s Houston Roughnecks this past season. For the Roughnecks, Moody racked up 24 solo tackles.

Playing five years at the collegiate level with the Green Wave, Moody started 31 games during his career at Tulane. He will not look to get some NFL reps in with the Browns.

This is a camp body move. Neither Bouyer-Randle nor Moody were going to or are going to make the 53-man roster or the practice squad with the Browns. However, with one preseason game left against the Seattle Seahawks, Moody will get the opportunity to put himself on tape for the rest of the NFL and UFL teams.
