The Toronto Maple Leafs (19-8-2) visit the Edmonton Oilers (16-10-0) Tuesday at Rogers Place. Puck drop is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Maple Leafs vs. Oilers odds and lines, and make our expert NHL picks, predictions and bets.
The Maple Leafs completed a 2-1 homestand by beating the Chicago Blackhawks 5-4 Saturday. Tuesday’s game kicks off a three-game trip, which includes stops at Vancouver Saturday and Seattle Sunday. Toronto was supposed to play at Calgary Thursday, but the game was postponed due to a COVID-19 outbreak involving the Flames.
The Oilers are in freefall, dropping five games in a row, including a 3-1 setback at home to the Carolina Hurricanes. Edmonton is averaging 1.6 goals per game across the five-game skid.

Maple Leafs at Oilers odds, lines, picks and predictions
Prediction
Maple Leafs 4, Oilers 3
Money line
The MAPLE LEAFS (-130) are a strong play against the skidding Oilers as Edmonton has been a home away from home for Toronto. The Leafs have picked up eight wins in the past nine trips to Edmonton, including two shutouts in the past three appearances at Rogers Place.
Against the spread
The Oilers +1.5 (-230) will cost you more than two times your potential return. That’s a bad idea. PASS.
Over/Under
OVER 6.5 (-102) is the play here as both Campbell and Koskinen have been very giving lately. The Over has cashed in seven straight games for Toronto, too, while going 5-0 in its past five as a favorite.
The Under has dominated for Edmonton lately, but it should get the offense going against Campbell and the defensively-challenged Leafs.
