Tennessee football and Tennessee track and field appear to be teaming up for the recruitment of 2021 wide receiver Malcolm Johnson Jr.
Johnson took to Twitter on Friday that he has officially received an offer from the Vols, with a football image alongside another of former Tennessee track star Christian Coleman.

In football, Johnson is a 4-star wide receiver at 6-foot-1, 178-pounds out of Richmond, Va.
Johnson rates as the No. 49 wide receiver prospect in the country and the No. 8 overall player in Virginia, per the 247Sports Composite.
With an offer list littered with major college football programs such as Alabama, Baylor, Michigan and Ohio State, it is clear running track is an important part of Johnson’s recruitment.
Johnson is a participant in the 200 meter and 55 meter dash at St. Stephens and St. Agnes High School, according to athletic.net.
