Prediction

Suns 110, Magic 95

Moneyline (ML)

The SUNS (-154) are coming off a second straight disappointing loss, falling 114-103 to the Sacramento Kings Tuesday after having a 21-point lead in the third quarter. They are in a funk in which they either give up leads or fall way behind and have to fight back to compete. The Magic (+125) have won four of five but are only 2-11 in road games when they are underdogs and are only 5-12 overall on the road. They come into Phoenix shorthanded.

Phoenix should win this game. While it is nine games under .500, it is 6-7 when favored at home.

Line/Against the Spread (ATS)

The SUNS (-3.5, -106) lost outright in their last two games as favorites. The Magic managed to cover the spread in only one of their last six games as underdogs. As road dogs, they are only 5-7-1 against the spread this season, while the Suns overall have been very reliable against the spread, excluding their last few games. They are 6-7 ATS as home favorites and 20-16-1 ATS overall.

While the Suns have been unreliable lately, the Magic are banged up and missing two point guards and could be without Gordon.

Over/Under (O/U)

The total is set at 217.5 points. Suns games hit the Over more often than not, including eight of 13 games in which they are favored. Their offense is sixth in the league, averaging 114.2 points per game, and they give up 115.2 PPG. However, Orlando is missing players to keep up their end.

Go with the UNDER 217.5 (-115).
