The Orlando Magic (9-6) and LA Clippers (8-7) meet Wednesday. Tip-off from Intuit Dome is set for 10:30 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NBA odds around the Magic vs. Clippers odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions for the best bets.

Season series: First meeting; Clippers swept 2-0 last season

The Magic are coming off a 109-99 win as 4.5-point favorites at the Phoenix Suns Monday with the Under (212) hitting. F Franz Wagner had a game-high 32 points for Orlando, which has won and covered 6 straight games.

The Clippers upset the visiting Golden State Warriors 102-99 as 5-point underdogs Monday while the Under (226) cashed. G Norman Powell led LA with 23 points, but he’ll be sidelined Wednesday with a hamstring injury.

The Clippers covered both meetings last season as the Over/Under (O/U) went 0-1-1. In the final meeting March 29, LA won 100-97 as a 1.5-point favorite at Orlando while the Under (212.5) hit. F Kawhi Leonard, who has not played this season due to a knee injury, led all scorers with 29 points in the March victory.

Magic at Clippers picks and predictions

Prediction

Magic 103, Clippers 100

Moneyline

I want no part of betting the Clippers without Powell, who is having a career year averaging 23.3 points per game on 48.7-percent shooting from 3.

The Magic are among the hottest teams in the league right now and will be looking for revenge after dropping both meetings last season.

BET MAGIC (-165).

Against the spread

This seems like the perfect number to me. If I were forced to bet it, I would lean Magic -3.5 (-110), but the ML at -165 is definitely the safer option.

PASS. Bet the ML and/or total instead.

Over/Under

This number is a little low, but how productive will the Clippers offense be without its scoring leader this season in Powell? The O/U is already 5-10 on the season for LA and 6-9 for Orlando.

The final meeting last season had just 197 total points scored, and Wednesday should play out in a similar fashion.

BET UNDER 205.5 (-110).

Orlando Magic at Los Angeles Clippers odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s Orlando Magic at Los Angeles Clippers odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Orlando Magic (5-21) travel to Staples Center Saturday to take on the Los Angeles Clippers (14-12). Tip-off is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Magic vs. Clippers odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

The Magic enter on a three-game losing skid. They lost to the Sacramento Kings despite scoring 130 points Wednesday.

Orlando is 11-15 against the spread (ATS) and the Clippers aren’t much better at 12-14 ATS. L.A. is 7-9 ATS as a home favorite.

With G Paul George out, it’ll be on G Reggie Jackson and company to get the job done Saturday. They’ve won two straight.

Magic at Clippers odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Clippers 108, Magic 105

Money line

PASS on the money line.

The Magic have won just five games all season, so I’m not taking their +310. Similarly, the -410 tag on the Clippers doesn’t make much sense, especially with Los Angeles down its star forward.

Against the spread

BET on the MAGIC +8.5 (-120) as the better side of the spread. The sportsbooks clearly favor it as well as it’s getting the juice.

It’s more about the absence of George and the likely absence of Batum than anything else. The Clippers lost to the Kings by 9 points and beat the Jaylen Brown-less Boston Celtics by 3 in two games that George was sidelined.

The Magic’s offense ranks 28th on the season, but they have the 23rd best offensive rating over the last five games. They have the 12th-best true shooting percentage as well, so this team is playing much better basketball.

Even if they don’t win outright I’d favor the Magic to cover considering the Clippers may be without their two best wing defenders.

Over/Under

BET on the UNDER 214.5 (-112) as the Clippers are one of the best defensive teams in the NBA. Players like Jackson and G Eric Bledsoe will still be playing and helping control the Magic guards.

Bigs Mo Bamba and Wendell Carter Jr. will also bring length and rebounding for the Magic that should limit Clippers C Ivica Zubac.

Couple the length with the Magic having the fifth-worst turnover rate in the NBA and this could be a sloppy showing from both sides. The Under feels like the better play with that in mind.
