Former Gators LAX standout named to 2024 Athletes Unlimited Pro final roster

Maggi Hall is the eighth former Florida lacrosse player to participate in the professional league.

Former Florida lacrosse star [autotag]Maggi Hall[/autotag] was selected on Tuesday to participate in the 2024 Athletes Unlimited Pro league this season. The recent Gators graduate is among 56 athletes named on the final roster for the professional circuit.

Hall became the first-ever member of the Orange and Blue to lead the country in total points this past season, amassing 119 on career highs in goals (65) and assists (54), as well as shot percentage (.619) and ground balls (27). She racked up 11 hat-tricks and had nine games in which she tallied seven or more points en route to IWLCA First Team All-American honors — making her the 15th Gator to earn that accolade.

She is the eighth Gator alumna to participate in the professional lacrosse league, along with assistant coaches Nicole Levy and Taryn VanThof.

About Athletes Unlimited

It is the fourth season of Athletes Unlimited Pro Lacrosse, which began in 2021. The season is set to take place for 24 days, lasting from July 18 to Aug. 11 at the USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Maryland.

Gators lacrosse duo earn NCAA All-Tournament Team honors

Florida fell short but Maggi Hall and Danielle Pavinelli earned NCAA All-Tournament Team recognition for their efforts.

Florida lacrosse fell short in its quest for the 2024 national championship but still managed to land a pair of players on the Division I Women’s Lacrosse Championship All-Tournament Team. On Sunday following the title game, [autotag]Maggi Hall[/autotag] and [autotag]Danielle Pavinelli[/autotag] earned honors for their outstanding play during the championship round.

Hall matched a team-high five goals on Friday in the loss against Northwestern, going a perfect 3-for-3 on free position opportunities. The senior amassed 16 goals, four assists and five ground balls for a .666 shot percentage stretching over four tournament games.

Pavinelli recorded three goals and two assists in the semifinals, tying a team-high in points with five. The captain had 10 goals, eight assists, three caused turnovers and a ground ball on a .714 shot percentage in four tournament games.
