It appears Antoine Winfield Jr. is happy with his Madden rating

Buccaneers rookie safety Antoine Winfield Jr. posted an image on Instagram that seems to indicate he’s pleased with his Madden rating.

The Buccaneers kick off training camp next week, but today, rookies and quarterbacks were due to report, and that included the new man under center, Tom Brady, who was seen entering the team’s training facility.

As for the rookies who will be in attendance at camp, the Buccaneers will have all of their selections from the 2020 draft present, having reached agreements with each player, including first-round pick Tristan Wirfs.

One rookie many people are anxious to see in action is safety Antoine Winfield Jr., the former Minnesota star who was taken by Tampa Bay with the 45th overall pick in round two of the draft.

Winfield, the son of former NFL Pro Bowl cornerback Antoine Winfield Sr., seems like the perfect player to plug into Todd Bowles’ defense, and hopefully, the Golden Gopher can bring some much-needed toughness to the pass defense.

Winfield seems poised for a big season, with Marc Sessler of NFL.com even predicting the rookie will have a Pro Bowl season. And the people over at Madden NFL 21 gave Winfield an overall rating of 75, the highest among Bucs rookies.

It seems the Bucs’ new safety was pleased with that rating, as Winfield posted the below image on his Instagram story a short while ago.

Take a look.

Lavonte David and Devin White hilariously react to teammates’ Madden ratings

Watch as Buccaneers linebackers Lavonte David and Devin White react to some of their teammates’ ratings in “Madden NFL 21.”

The Buccaneers already have the look and feel of a team straight out of Madden NFL 21, but they’ll have to put up or shut up on the field if they hope to end their postseason drought in 2020.

With Tom Brady under center and the team going back to a more traditional look, the Bucs seem ready to begin a new chapter in their franchise history, and a star-studded offense will certainly have people excited to watch this team in action.

While Brady may be a 43-year-old quarterback when the season starts, the people over at EA Sports felt confident enough in the six-time Super Bowl champion to award him with a 90 rating in the latest version of Madden, set to be released next month.

Brady joins three other Buccaneers in the 90 club, including tight end Rob Gronkowski (95), wide receiver Mike Evans (92) and linebacker Lavonte David (90).

Another Bucs linebacker who could find himself in the 90 club down the road someday is Devin White, who had a strong second half to his rookie season, which gave fans a glimpse of what the future may hold for the former LSU Tiger.

Both White and David recently reacted to some of their teammates’ Madden ratings. Check it out below.

I agree with both these guys that Evans should be around 96. The guy is just so good. 92? Please.
