The Macy’s Day Parade’s annual who can sing better in cold weather list is here.

Happy Thanksgiving to all those who celebrate.

It’s one of the best times of the year. The leaves are turning colors. The cold weather is rolling in. The arguments over who is and isn’t making Thanksgiving food are ramping up. (By the way, raisins DO NOT go in the potato salad; cranberry sauce is best served OUT OF THE CAN.)

And the best thing to happen to television during this time of year (besides A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving) is the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The floats are fantastic. The balloons are even better. Plus, the parade has the best darn (totally not lip-syncing) performances you’ll see live from New York City.
