Ludovit Klein has power, and he used it to become the first Slovak fighter ever to earn a victory in the UFC.

The Slovakian scored a first-round knockout over [autotag]Shane Young[/autotag] in the preliminary card of Saturday’s UFC 253 in Abu Dhabi. The official stoppage came at the 1:16 mark of round one.

The fight was a quick and easy contest for Klein (17-2 MMA, 1-0 UFC). The two spent seconds measuring each other’s distance and then Klein connected with a head kick and followed up with a quick combination to put Young (13-5 MMA, 2-2 UFC) away.

With the win, Klein is now on an eight-fight wining streak.

The UFC wasted no time finding a replacement for the card later this month, though, as it has signed [autotag]Ludovit Klein[/autotag] to debut on short notice against Young.

MMA Junkie confirmed Landwehr’s removal and Klein’s replacement status with multiple people close to the situation, who wished to remain anonymous because UFC has yet to make an official announcement.

Klein (16-2 MMA, 0-0 UFC), is the fist UFC fighter to be signed from Slovakia and at 25, has finished all but one of his career victories. He’ll take on Young (13-4 MMA, 2-1 UFC), who has never been stopped inside the distance in his career.
