The Tennessee Titans hold the No. 7 pick in the 2024 NFL draft and are in desperate need of wide receiver help, so it’s stands to reason that LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers could be their pick if he’s on the board.
But when given the choice between joining the Titans or Atlanta Falcons, who hold the No. 8 pick, Nabers prefers the latter.
While down at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Nabers was asked a series of questions that ended with him having to choose between the two teams, and Nabers went with the Falcons.
“Oof,” Nabers said. “Uh, that’s pretty good. I ain’t gonna lie, Atlanta wouldn’t be too bad.”

Nabers did say he would choose the Country Music Hall of Fame as a tourist destination he’d like to visit, even over Disneyland, so I guess the Titans have that going for him.
As far as wide receivers go, the Titans figure to be the better landing spot right now thanks to the presence of Will Levis. The Falcons are currently without a sure answer at quarterback going into 2024.
Nabers revealed during his combine press conference that he has met with the Titans and the visit went “pretty good.”
“It went pretty good,” Nabers said, per Jim Wyatt. “I never really had any bad interviews. I would say I wowed all the coaches with my football intelligence.”
Nabers also discussed what he’ll bring to any team that drafts him.
“I am able to play outside, inside, go against eight corners a game, and still put up big numbers, at the end of the day,” Nabers said. “A different offense can move me around, and (I) still got that dawg mentality.
“I would say I’m a dawg. When that ball is in the air, it’s mine. When I get the ball in my hands, I’m able to do tremendous things with it.”
Some people will definitely take this the wrong way, but that would not deter me from wanting Nabers if the top left tackle in the class, Joe Alt, is not there when the Titans are on the clock in the first round.
