The Jacksonville Jaguars unfortunately won’t have the privilege of playing in next months Super Bowl that will take place in their home state, but thanks to Lowe’s home improvement department store they will at least be represented. The team will be illustrated by Lowe’s in their “Hometown” neighborhood display that will be built for Super Bowl LIV.
Of course, the other 31 teams will be represented too by what is being described as “an idyllic NFL community featuring dwellings for all 32 NFL teams,” by the renowned home improvement juggernaut.
Each dwelling will be 8-foot-by-8-foot structures constructed in North Carolina by materials found at Lowe’s, who are one if the NFL’s many sponsors. They all are supposed to represent each team’s home city in some way and fans will get to peep the neighborhood as a whole at this years Super Bowl experience at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
“Lowe’s Hometown is an opportunity to engage fans that make their way through the Super Bowl Experience,” said Adam Jacobs, who is Lowe’s director of sports marketing. “This neighborhood of very unique dwellings won’t only have team logos but will include featured characteristics of teams, hometowns and fans while adding layers of interactivity to them. We can showcase our vendor partners as well.”
So what will the Jags’ dwelling be you ask? Well, an airboat entitled “The Swamp Ship” which is supposed to depict Florida’s swamp-like features.

“The Jaguars dwelling features an airboat nestled into an everglade-inspired backdrop with orange and turquoise palm trees and tall grass. A stadium seat in the boat serves as the perfect backdrop for photos.”
The issue with the Jags’ dwelling is that Jacksonville isn’t near the Everglades, and while the city does have marsh-like features in some areas, it’s more known for it’s beaches and a dwelling that reflects that would’ve probably been better.
Hey, they at least tried, though.
