LeBron James had one of his roughest shooting games from the field on Monday night but he had plenty of help from his teammates in a dominant 125-100 win over the Phoenix Suns.
LeBron James finished with 17 points, nine assists and eight rebounds on 6-16 shooting, though he did go 3 for 6 from the 3-point line. Anthony Davis shouldered the scoring load with 25 points and 10 rebounds but the Lakers got incredible production from their bench that helped them turn a good game into a blowout.
Rajon Rondo had a monster game with 23 points and six assists while Dwight Howard was dominant on the inside with 14 points and a game-high 15 rebounds in 24 minutes of action. The Lakers also got 13 points off the bench from Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. LeBron played some to begin the fourth quarter but mostly enjoyed a quarter of rest as his teammates put the victory away.
Up next for the Lakers is their final game of the pre-All-Star schedule, a trip to Denver to face Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets, who are currently No. 2 in the West at 38-16.
