The offense has been a major issue, as they entered the weekend tied for last in total yards (3,679) and 29th in points scored (218).

The Packers are only 1 game better than the Rams right now but their playoff hopes are still alive, although they likely need to win out. Green Bay was on its bye in Week 14 but the Packers beat the Chicago Bears 28-19 in their last game before getting a week off. With the Packers (-320) being overwhelming favorites against the Rams, the money line isn’t all that appetizing from a betting perspective. There’s no value here.

Against the spread

The Rams and Packers are two of the worst teams against the spread this season, with the Rams going 4-7-2 ATS and the Packers only being 5-8 ATS to match their outright record. Both teams covered the spread in their most recent games, but this is a matchup that favors the much-healthier Packers.

In frigid temperatures, the Packers are much better built to move the ball on offense with the tandem of RB Aaron Jones and RB A.J. Dillon. I think they’ll run the ball well enough to cover the spread, with Los Angeles’ offense struggling to put up points once again.

Over/Under

The Rams haven’t scored more than 23 points since Week 6, struggling painfully on offense all season — even when QB Matthew Stafford was healthy. Now with QB Baker Mayfield under center and still learning the offense, the playbook probably isn’t completely opened up yet.

The Los Angeles Rams (7-3) will be on the road off their bye for a meeting with the Green Bay Packers (8-3) Sunday in Week 12. Kickoff from Lambeau Field will be at 4:25 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Rams vs. Packers odds and lines, and make our best NFL picks, predictions and bets.

The Rams have lost their last two games following a four-game win streak. L.A. still ranks seventh in scoring and sixth in total yards on offense despite putting up just 26 total points across the two-game skid. In the last two weeks, the Rams have allowed 31 and 28 points, struggling mightily to slow down the San Francisco 49ers in Week 10.

The Packers have lost two of their last three games as they suffered losses to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 9 and Minnesota Vikings in Week 11. They did beat the Seahawks in between those losses, but Green Bay has dropped to 8-3 on the year after starting 7-1. QB Aaron Rodgers is currently dealing with a toe injury and LT David Bakhtiari and OL Elgton Jenkins will both miss this game.

The Rams actually opened as underdogs in this one after losing their last two games, but they’re now favored because of how banged up the Packers are. These teams are trending in opposite directions health-wise and there are some serious injury concerns on Green Bay’s side.

I like the RAMS (-130) to take advantage of the shorthanded Packers and win outright on the road.

Against the spread

The Packers’ 9-2 ATS record is the best in the league. The Rams have dropped their last 4 against the spread and are 4-6 ATS on the year. Even though they opened as underdogs, with the line since flipping to Rams -1.5, they’re the healthier team right now, which makes a big difference.

Bet the RAMS -2.5 (-110) to cover and win by at least a couple of points.

Over/Under

Surprisingly, the total has only gone Over in three of the Packers’ 11 games. The Over is 5-4-1 in Rams games, but it’s just 1-3 in their last four. With the Packers being injured and the Rams offense stalling in recent weeks, I don’t see this being a very high-scoring game — especially in colder conditions.

The Packers are -325, which is far too much to give up. If you feel you have to make a play on this, a small bet on the Rams at +260 could be worth the dice roll.

With key injuries in too many spots, the best option here is simply to AVOID this bet.

Against the spread (?)

The key here is the Rams offense is going to likely have to depend on the run too much for a warm-weather team in a cold climate. There are too many key injuries and bad scenarios facing the Rams as they head to Wisconsin in mid-January to face a rested Packers team with a lot of advantages that don’t require fans.

TAKE THE PACKERS -6.5 (-115) to win by at least 7 points.

Over/Under (?)

This is a tough one because, if the Packers defense can get a turnover or two – very possible – this one could get away from the Rams with the hot hand Packers QB Aaron Rodgers has been wielding. The Rams faced a lot of good offenses this season and were the No. 1 defense for a reason.

When you factor in the Rams offense, barring a defensive or special teams touchdown, all signs point to the Packers bottling up their run game and forcing the issue. TAKE THE UNDER 45.5 (-110).
