Weathers, the seventh pick in the 2018 June Amateur Draft, has some good stuff. Statcast grades Weathers out in the 86th percentile of K% and 82nd percentile of whiff% thus far and he has a mid-90s fastball.

Run line/Against the spread (ATS)
Slight “LEAN” to the DODGERS -1.5 (+110) for a quarter unit if at all because of the favorable price and I expect Buehler to be sharp Friday night.
It’s pretty much common knowledge how good the Dodgers hitters are, so if either team is going to have success in the batter’s box, it’ll most likely be L.A.
Over/Under (O/U)
Buehler won his first four starts vs. the Padres, holding them scoreless in two of those wins. Plus, SS Fernando Tatis Jr., the Padres hitter that’s done the most damage vs. Buehler, is sidelined with an injury.
In my opinion, Buehler’s the second-best starter in L.A.’s rotation.
Between Buehler, San Diego’s starter, who was a first-round pick that the Dodgers don’t have any experience against, and a Padres bullpen that’s first in ERA and second in WHIP, I “LIKE” this game to go UNDER 8 (-115) for 1 unit.
