The Clippers are led by their defense and allow the third-lowest percentage from deep in the league.
The Sixers have covered eight of their last 10 games, but remain unprofitable at 22-21-1 ATS. MVP candidate C Joel Embiid has this team sitting fifth in the Eastern Conference, although they’re just 10-9 at home.

PASS on the money line with a slight “lean” to the Clippers (+340).
They’ve shown they can defend against elite big men, losing by just 2 points in overtime to the Nuggets Wednesday and beating them Jan. 11, and they’re in a good position to pull off an upset Friday.
I’d rather look towards the spread for value though.
Against the spread
BET on the CLIPPERS +8.5 (-110).
One huge factor in this game will be free throws. The Sixers average the second-most free throws made per game.
That bodes well for the Clippers who allow the lowest free throw attempt rate to opponents. The Clippers have the size, depth and speed to match up with Embiid as well.
Considering they have the sixth-best defense rating, even if the Sixers manage the victory, the Clippers should be able to hold this game close.
Over/Under
“LEAN” to the UNDER 213.5 (-110).
The Sixers play at the fifth slowest pace in the NBA.
Unlike many teams, they prefer a half-court offense that’s run through Embiid. With a top scorer like Curry also potentially sidelined, the Sixers could be down a few key scorers.
Similarly, if both Morris and Batum are not active, the Clippers may struggle to find scoring of their own and they already rank 25th in points per game.
Lastly, the Sixers have been one of the least profitable O/U teams this season with a 17-25-2 O/U record. The Clippers are 20-26 O/U this season.
