Tennessee is looking to get in early on a local prospect, offering 2023 wide receiver Shamar Porter out of Nashville.
Porter is a sophomore at Ensworth High School, having transferred from Lipscomb Academy. At 6-foot-3, 200-pounds, Porter has excellent length for his age, but has no ratings yet from the 247Sports Composite.

Other schools have taken notice, however, as Porter has offers from Florida Atlantic, Penn State and Vanderbilt. Alabama has shown interest, as well, but have yet to extend an offer.
Tennessee wide receivers coach Tee Marin is assigned as Porter’s primary recruiter. The Vols do not yet have a prospect committed to the 2023 recruiting class.
