Caitlin Clark singing to Fever teammate Lexie Hull for her birthday before picking her up is the cutest

Caitlin Clark sang to Lexie Hull for her birthday, and of course, it was nothing but cute shenanigans.

Caitlin Clark and Lexie Hull‘s friendship is the cutest.

The pair have been having a blast all season. From full-court passes to attending a Jordan Davis concert during the WNBA Olympic break, it’s been fun watching their friendship blossom. (Earlier this year, they even made a postgame presser really lively with an unintentional double entendre, and I knew then that these two are always here for the shenanigans).

So, for Lexie’s birthday, Caitlin went all in during the team’s recognition of her special day. The Indiana Fever released footage Friday of her leading the charge, and the whole thing is adorable. Caitlin is goofily belting out notes when she lifts Lexie mid-song and twirls her around for the team to see. As you might suspect, Lexie loved every second of it.

Here’s Caitlin talking about how important it was to “perform” well for Lexie and keep things light as the season rolls on.

Caitlin Clark nearly lost it after a Lexie Hull double entendre during a Fever postgame presser

Lexie Hull is so unserious, but so is Caitlin Clark.

The Indiana Fever had a particularly lighthearted postgame presser after a huge win over the Connecticut Sun, which means there was plenty of room for Caitlin Clark and Lexie Hull‘s shenanigans.

It’s likely fair to assume the Fever were feeling pretty good about its win over the Sun, especially Caitlin and Lexie. Caitlin had a stellar night and even found Lexie during the fourth quarter for a beautiful crosscourt assist. Their chemistry on and off the court is undeniable.

Postgame, Lexie, Caitlin and Kelsey Mitchell were answering questions during media availability when Lexie unintentionally joked about defensively hustling for basketballs. Immediately, Caitlin recognized the double entendre and could barely keep it together. Kelsey, too, was fighting to stifle her laughs and the whole sequence is hysterical. (Warning: very NSFW language.)

Caitlin Clark completed an absolutely stunning crosscourt assist to Fever teammate Lexie Hull

Now this is how you nail an assist from across the court.

Indiana Fever rookie guard Caitlin Clark has become well-known for her ability to pass the basketball at an elite level in the WNBA.

Against the Minnesota Lynx, Clark completed a mind-boggling assist from the other side of the court to teammate Lexie Hull with a fantastic pass.

It’s always thrilling to see Clark hit one of these passes from a far distance, and she was in perfect sync with Hull on getting the basketball down the court for the points.

Indiana needed every bucket it could get, as it trailed Minnesota for most of the game. However, Clark made sure Hull was in perfect position to snag this stellar assist. Sometimes, it’s all about good timing and better passing.

Caitlin Clark and Lexie Hull show off singing chops during WNBA Olympic break at Jordan Davis concert

Sing it, ladies!

Caitlin Clark is fully enjoying her Olympic break. She and Fever teammate Lexie Hull recently attended a Jordan Davis concert in Indy and belted out some tunes for fans.

Caitlin meant it when she said she was going to rest. From various posts to her Instagram story and one hysterical video during a recent practice, the rookie confirmed that she took some time for herself during her time away from basketball. As she and the Fever continue to rev back up over the next few weeks until the WNBA returns, she and teammate Lexie Hull are taking full advantage.

In new videos shared to social media, Caitlin and Lexie joined country singer Jordan Davis Wednesday evening to sing along to Jordan’s song Buy Dirt before he ended his concert. As if you expected anything less, Caitlin did not hesitate to immediately hype up the crowd before singing away with Lexie.

Hailey Van Lith joins seasoned pros on FIBA 3×3 roster ahead of Paris

The teams were composed of players various levels, including the WNBA, NCAA and Athletes Unlimited.

If you are a phenomenal player, it doesn’t matter if you are still in college or a seasoned professional player. USA Basketball was represented by two teams at the 2024 FIBA 3×3 Womenā€™s Series opener with players from the WNBA, NCAA, Athletes Unlimited and the international level.

After winning the gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics, the United States is looking to repeat in Paris. Team USA consisted of Hailey Van Lith, Cierra Burdick, Lexie Hull and Rhyne Howard. The other roster, Team Springfield, boasted Allisha Gray,Ā Cameron Brink,Ā Dearica HambyĀ andĀ Linnae Harper.

Team USA took second to Canada in the final at the Springfield stop of the series, falling short, 20-18. The teams competing in the series consisted of athletes from Canada, France, Germany and Puerto Rico.

The 3×3 game is a bit different than the 5×5 full-court basketball. For example, 3×3 is played on a half-court with a 10-minute game clock. The first team to score 21 points via 1-point field goals or 2-pointers behind the arc is victorious. If neither team reaches 21 before time expires, the team with the most points wins.

ā€œI just like how free-flowing it is; there’s a lot of room for error,ā€ Brink said. ā€œIf you mess up, you just have to move on to the next possession immediately.ā€

The FIBA 3×3 Womenā€™s Series “offers women a chance to play 3×3 at the highest competitive level regularly, representing a unique opportunity to bring new countries and players into the limelight and to recognize the best and upcoming players in the industry.” The event culminates in a 3×3 World Cup and then the Olympic Games in Paris.

With this scoring system, Gray had 5,748 total points and shot 91.8% from the free-throw line.

The Athletes Unlimited 2023 All-Defensive Team was voted upon by players and the facilitators of the league. The All-Defensive Team included Ty Young, Jordin Canada, Natasha Cloud, Gray and Hull.

Natasha Cloud gave Indiana Fever guard Lexie Hull her first ‘Welcome to the WNBA’ moment with this sick hesitation move

Somebody ask Natasha Cloud for Lexie Hull’s ankles back. Please.

The WNBA is not for the faint of heart, man. There are only so many spots to go around in that league. Each spot is filled by a player with a ton of talent.

Indiana Fever rookie Lexie Hull found that out the hard way in Friday’s season-opening game against the Mystics.

Hull had the bright idea of picking up Mystics point guard Natasha Cloud full court. You can’t really blame her here. This is her just trying to play hard while the Mystics are blowing the Fever out. It’s sort of admirable, really.

Turned out to be a big mistake, though. Why? Because Cloud absolutely snatches her ankles with this smooth hesitation.

LEXIE NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Somebody check on her ankles, man. Or, better yet, ask Natasha Cloud for them back. Because those joints areĀ snatched.Ā

My goodness, man. Just…wow.

Somebody help Lexie, indeed. I’ll give her some credit here. The only way to get embarrassed like this is to actually play defense. So good on her for really giving that effort.

But, uh, let’s just say the results here are less than optimal. Sheesh. This is definitely her “welcome to the WNBA” moment. She’ll never forget it.

Unfortunately for her, neither will we. Everyone was shocked by this.
