The Kansas City Chiefs have a new running back. The team officially welcomed free agent RB Le’Veon Bell on social media. The entire Chiefs Kingdom is excited about landing Bell, including some of his newest teammates. Several Chiefs players took to Twitter in order to share their excitement, welcoming Bell to the team.
Of course, Bell’s offseason training buddy, Chris Jones was the first one to tweet out in excitement. Jones has been recruiting Bell to the Chiefs since he first became a free agent ahead of the 2019 season. Jones is finally going to get a chance to play with one of his good friends. While he might not play on the defensive side of the ball with Sack Nation, you know that he’s excited about the opportunity to play on the same team as Bell.
My dawg @LeVeonBell! https://t.co/tNjiygkBDp

Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes also welcomed Bell to the team. Mahomes played it sly during his press conference this morning, but you know that he advocated for bringing Bell to Kansas City. After all, the two players followed each other on Twitter shortly after the news surrounding Bell’s release broke.
Welcome my brother! Let’s get it! https://t.co/AgUEcuxy05

For Chiefs DT Khalen Saunders, he was most impressed with the job done by GM Brett Veach to bring Bell to Kansas City. It is pretty crazy the amount of talent that Veach has been able to bring in and keep on this team.
Lol bro Veach is so cold https://t.co/NzG3UE17Ic

It’s hard to imagine the Chiefs’ offense getting anymore dynamic than it already was. Bell adds another weapon to an already potent group of playmakers. It’s easy to see why his new teammates are excited to have him on board as they attempt to run it back and win Super Bowl LV.
