Okolie vs. Glowacki: Tale of the tape
Lawrence Okolie
Okolie (15-0, 12 KOs) has a rather quick turnaround as he last fought in December. He barely broke a sweat, dropping Nikodem Jezewski in the second round for his fifth straight knockout and 12th in 15 career professional bouts. The last time he was taken the distance was Sept. 22, 2018, in a bout against Matty Askin on the Joshua-Povetkin undercard.

Krzysztof Glowacki
Glowacki (31-2, 19 KOs) was knocked out in the third round in his most recent fight against Mairis Briedis June 15, 2019. Like everything else, COVID affected this fight. They were previously supposed to meet Dec. 12, 2020, but Glowacki tested positive for coronavirus, and Okolie ended up with another opponent. Previous to the Briedis fight, Glowacki was on a five-bout win streak, including a unanimous-decision win in the main event over Maksim Vlasov Nov. 10, 2018.

Okolie vs. Glowacki: Odds, predictions and picks
Okolie (-400) is a little expensive on the 3-way line, as you must risk four times your potential return. Let’s get a little more specific instead.
I don’t like the fact Glowacki has been off for so long, and you have to wonder about his cardio and ability to stand in there for long against Okolie, who has been in the ring within the past three months, and was impressive in that outing, too. As such, OKOLIE BY KO/TKO/TECHNICAL DECISION OR DQ (-150) is a must-play.
In addition, I always try and target a three-round block. OKOLIE IN ROUND 5 (+1100), OKOLIE IN ROUND 6 (+1100) and OKOLIE IN ROUND 7 (+1100) is a value play if he is able to win in Rounds 5-7. You will lose two of the ends, but still be well ahead. It isn’t even out of line to perhaps bet a four-round block, as you can still be well ahead.
