With the NBA season still on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic, many players and coaches around the league are testing out new hobbies to fill their time. Music, video games and social media debates about hoops have been common selections.
For the Golden State Warriors head coach, it’s improv comedy.
Steve Kerr is slated to join the legendary sketch comedy outlet Second City for their third episode of “The Last Show Left on Earth” series. The show will be hosted by Second City alum Lauren Ash with Kerr serving as a special guest.
Bethany Cosentino of Best Coast will perform during the episode as the musical guest.
Through the first two episodes, former Saturday Night Live member Fred Armisen and Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy have joined as guests on “The Last Show on Earth.”
The production is scheduled to air at 6 p.m. Pacific Time on Topic’s streaming platforms on Facebook and Youtube.
