Former Tennessee defensive lineman concludes Michigan spring practices as a linebacker assistant coach.

Former Tennessee defensive lineman LaTroy Lewis is serving as a linebacker assistant at Michigan in 2022.

The Wolverines concluded spring practices April 2 with its Maize and Blue game. Michigan’s Blue team defeated the Maize, 20-12, at Michigan Stadium.

Lewis played for the Vols from 2012-16. He appeared in 44 games with 10 starts, totaling 77 tackles, 12 tackles for a loss, 4.5 sacks, two pass deflections, two forced fumbles and recovered one fumble.

Lewis came to Tennessee from Archbishop Hoban High School in Akron, Ohio.

He signed with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 2017. The former Vol later signed with the Texans and Titans.
