The Las Vegas Raiders and Denver Broncos get their seasons underway Sunday. Kickoff from Empower Field at Mile High is set for 4:25 p.m. ET (CBS). Below, we look at Raiders vs. Broncos odds from BetMGM Sportsbook Also see: SportsbookWire’s NFL picks and predictions.

The Raiders officially begin a new era in 2023. For the 1st time since 2013, Las Vegass will begin a season with someone other than QB Derek Carr under center as former San Francisco 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo takes the reins following Carr’s offseason release.

Las Vegas returns multiple key offensive players for their new signal caller to work with, including stud WR Davante Adams and RB Josh Jacobs.

The Broncos are hoping that bringing in coach Sean Payton helps turn the page on a disastrous 2022 season. Denver opened the 2022 season among the shortest odds to win Super Bowl LVII, but the team finished last in the AFC West with a 5-12 record as Nathaniel Hackett’s first foray into a head coaching gig ended with his being fired after a 4-11 start.

Denver has already suffered numerous injuries on the offensive side of the ball in the offseason. WR Tim Patrick will miss the season after suffering an Achilles tear in late July, WR KJ Hamler remains sidelined with a cardiac issue and WR Jerry Jeudy, who led the team in receiving yards in 2022, suffered a hamstring strain on Aug. 24 and is expected to miss some time to begin the season — although he avoided being placed on the IR.
