Las Vegas Raiders at Cleveland Browns odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Monday’s Las Vegas Raiders at Cleveland Browns odds and lines, with expert NFL picks, predictions and best bets.

The Las Vegas Raiders (6-7) hit the road to face the Cleveland Browns (7-6) in a Week 15 matchup Monday. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Raiders vs. Browns odds and lines, and make our best NFL picks, predictions and bets.

The Raiders were pummeled 48-9 by the Kansas City Chiefs on the road in Week 14. Las Vegas has dropped two in a row, and five of the past six outings while going 1-5 ATS during the stretch.

The Browns have been hit hard by a COVID-19 outbreak, with QB Baker Mayfield, WR Jarvis Landry and head coach Kevin Stefanski among the several notable players and personnel dealing with a positive test. This game was moved from Saturday at 4:30 p.m. to Monday at 5 p.m., NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announced Friday.

Cleveland picked up a 24-22 win against the Baltimore Ravens last week, but it failed to cover. The Browns are now 0-4 ATS across the past four, while going 2-7 ATS over the previous nine outings.

Raiders at Browns odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Browns 20, Raiders 17

Money line

The BROWNS (-160) are worth playing, even with the team down a handful of key players due to the reserve/COVID list. However, tread lightly as the odds have been steamed up from -115 to -160. QB Case Keenum started a game against the Denver Broncos at home earlier this season, and the Browns picked up a 17-14 win. It’s uncertain if Keenum, Mayfield or perhaps QB Nick Mullens will start Monday afternoon.

RB Nick Chubb had COVID last month, so he’ll be available. You can expect the star running back to shoulder the load in a ground-and-pound attack Stefanski would be proud of.

Against the spread

The BROWNS -2.5 (-133) are now at a better price than the moneyline, and you’ll get some insurance here. If you want to hammer this side and skip the moneyline, go for it.

Over/Under

The UNDER 40.5 (-105) is the play, even though this is a super-low number for this day and age of the NFL. Cleveland has several key players missing, while we’ll also see freezing conditions and a stiff wind blowing in from Lake Erie. That icy wind should limit the pass and kicking game, meaning a lot of running. Runs equal Under results.

First look: Las Vegas Raiders at Cleveland Browns odds and lines

Looking at Saturday’s Las Vegas Raiders at Cleveland Browns Week 15 NFL odds, lines and trends. Here’s what you need to know.

The Las Vegas Raiders (6-7) are on the road for a Week 15 tilt with the Cleveland Browns (7-6) Saturday. Kickoff from FirstEnergy Stadium is set for 4:30 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Raiders vs. Browns odds and lines; check back for our NFL picks and predictions.

The Raiders took a victory lap in their busses around Arrowhead Stadium last season after claiming their first win in there since 2011. On their return Sunday, they danced on the Chiefs’ logo at midfield before kickoff. They then proceeded to get trounced 48-9, starting with falling behind 35-3 at halftime.

QB Derek Carr finished with 263 passing yards and 1 touchdown against 1 interception with WR Hunter Renfrow recording 117 yards and a score on 13 receptions from 14 targets. Carr and Renfrow each lost a fumble in the defeat while RB Josh Jacobs and WR Zay Jones each added a lost fumble as well. The Raiders were minus 5 in turnover margin.

The Browns picked up an important 24-22 AFC North Division victory Sunday over the Baltimore Ravens and have alternated wins and losses across their last eight games. Ravens QB Lamar Jackson was injured on the first play of the second quarter so the Browns spent the majority of the game facing backup QB Tyler Huntley.

The change under center led to Browns DE Myles Garrett recording his first career touchdown on a Huntley fumble with 49 seconds remaining in the first half. Cleveland held a 24-6 lead after two quarters and held on for victory despite a 13-point fourth quarter from Baltimore. QB Baker Mayfield finished with 190 passing yards and 2 touchdowns against 1 interception while RB Nick Chubb paced the backfield with 59 yards on 17 carries.
