How many games will the Las Vegas Raiders win in the 2020 NFL season? We look at BetMGM‘s projected win total and the Over/Under odds, while looking back at the 2019 season and key offseason roster changes.
Las Vegas Raiders’ 2019 season
The Raiders improved in 2019, winning seven games after a disappointing 4-12 year in 2018. They were actually in the playoff hunt all the way up until the final game of the regular season. But the team really tailed off in the second half of the season, losing five of their final six games.
Las Vegas Raiders’ 2020 offseason changes
The Raiders added multiple receivers to their offense, including WR Henry Ruggs, WR Bryan Edwards and veteran WR Nelson Agholor. They also added future Hall of Fame TE Jason Witten to back up TE Darren Waller.
On defense, the team added several proven veterans, including LB Cory Littleton, DT Maliek Collins and CB Prince Amukamara. The Raiders used the No. 19 pick on Ohio State CB Damon Arnette as they continue to rebuild their secondary.

Projected wins: 7.5 … OVER: -105 / UNDER: -115
The Raiders have a much-improved roster heading into the 2020 season as they have finally rebuilt their receiving corps. They’ve added multiple proven linebackers and more depth to their defensive line.
But given their incredibly difficult schedule, it wouldn’t be a surprise if they don’t improve in the win column. Las Vegas is a distant second, at best, in the AFC West, which makes it hard to believe they are going to win eight or more games this season. Take the UNDER on wins for the Raiders this season.
Exact season wins: Bands
- 0-4 wins: +1000
- 5-8 wins: -223
- 9-12 wins: +200
- 13-16 wins: +6500
If the Over/Under is too tough of a choice for you and you want a “safer” bet, consider betting on the Raiders to win between 5-8 games this season. While it feels unlikely the Raiders will win fewer than five games without major injuries, it does feel like the sweet spot for wins is between seven and eight. At (-223), you can get both possibilities in an exact season wins band. Take Las Vegas to win between 5-8 games during the 2020 season.
Exact wins: Best bet
If you are looking for a bet that offers a better payout than the ones mentioned above, consider taking the Raiders to win exactly seven games (+285) this season.
With a brutal opening schedule, the Raiders are hoping to get through the first six games of the season with three wins or more. If they can accomplish that, they should have no problem getting to seven wins.
If you are a bit more optimistic about their chances this season, exactly eight wins pays out at +290. Either bet is a fine wager for this young Raiders team.
