WATCH: Ravens QB Lamar Jackson arrived early for training camp

Lamar Jackson reported to the Under Armour Performance Center five days early for the start of Ravens training camp

Lamar Jackson received a lot of criticism this off-season for missing OTAs, but he participated fully in the mandatory minicamp and surprised some on Monday when he reported to training camp five days early.

Jackson was captured walking into the Under Armour Performance Center two days after rookies reported and just five days before his mandatory July 20 report date.

Jackson is coming off a 2023 season in which he won the NFL MVP after posting career highs in attempts (457), completion percentage (67.2), and yards per attempt (8.0).

Jackson threw for 3,678 yards and 24 touchdowns and ran for 821 yards and five scores. He helped the Baltimore Ravens (13-4) finish with the best record in the league and led them to a playoff win over Houston.

Baltimore has Super Bowl aspirations after signing Derrick Henry, and Jackson’s early arrival should help squash any concerns about his sense of urgency or need to reach a Super Bowl.
