Ravens are set to take the load management approach with QB Lamar Jackson

Lamar Jackson could take the load management approach and sit out practices during the week as the Ravens look to be healthy for the playoffs

As Allen Iverson once said, “We’re talking about practice.” With Lamar Jackson in contention for back-to-back MVPs, the Ravens are taking the NBA approach with their star.

Jackson missed two days of practice this week as Baltimore prepared for the Denver Broncos. With two games in four days and three games in eleven days, the Ravens are utilizing load management for their star quarterback.

Jackson declared he will “100 percent” play Sunday against the Denver Broncos after missing two practices this week with back and knee injuries.

Baltimore is No. 1 in total yards (452.1) and second in scoring (30.3 points per game). Jackson’s 2,099 yards passing is fifth in the NFL, and his 501 yards rushing leads all quarterbacks.
