Four-star safety Ladarian Clardy named Colorado to his list of top schools

Less than one month after offering him a scholarship, the Colorado Buffaloes have made class of 2025 four-star safety Ladarian Clardy’s top 10 teams.

As announced via X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, Colorado was included along with the Michigan Wolverines, Georgia Bulldogs, Miami Hurricanes, Mississippi State Bulldogs, Washington Huskies, UCF Knights, Ole Miss Rebels, Florida State Seminoles and Florida Gators.

According to the 247Sports composite, Clardy is a four-star prospect and the No. 34 player in Florida for the 2025 recruiting cycle.

Listed at 5-foot-10 and 175 pounds, he throws his weight around with authority. His highlight tape is full of plays where he’s flying downfield and playing the run efficiently. He mostly plays zone in the passing game and when called upon, Clardy does an excellent job of finding the ball in the air and making a play.

Clardy currently holds two crystal ball predictions from 247Sports analysts, one in favor of Ole Miss and another for Florida State.

Four-star safety prospect Ladarian Clardy includes UGA, others in his list of top schools

Four-star safety recruit Ladarian Clardy has named his top 10 schools. Clardy is a member of the class of 2025.

The 5-foot-11, 175-pound safety prospect plays football for Escambia High School in Pensacola, Florida. The elite defensive back recruit is ranked 178th overall per 247Sports. Clardy is the No. 15 safety and No. 21 recruit in Florida in the 2025 cycle.

247Sports projects Clardy will commit to Florida State or Ole Miss. The Escambia standout recently visited Ole Miss.

Clardy’s top schools are Colorado, Georgia, Miami, Mississippi State, Florida State, Ole Miss, Florida, Michigan, Washington and UCF.

The four-star named his top schools via social media.

Head coach Kirby Smart and Georgia football have the No. 4 recruiting class in the 2025 cycle. The Georgia Bulldogs have 17 commitments, but the Dawgs are still looking for their first commitment from a defensive back. Georgia is favored to land a pair of four-star safety recruits, but they have not committed to Georgia yet.
