Watch: Jonathan Kuminga spikes windmill dunk at recent workout

The Golden State Warrior forward showed off his bounce at a recent workout.

While the Dallas Mavericks and Boston Celtics square off in the NBA Finals, one member of the Golden State Warriors is already back in the gym to prep for next season.

Jonathan Kuminga’s trainer, Anthony Wells, recently shared a video from a recent workout with the Golden State Warriors young forward. One of the clips from the workout showed Kuminga swishing some 3-pointers from the corner. His latest video showed off his bounce. During the clip shared on Instagram, Kuminga spiked an explosive windmill dunk.

Kuminga is coming off a breakout campaign, averaging 16.1 points on 52.9% shooting from the field last season. The 21-year-old forward added 4.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists per contest.

Jonathan Kuminga was back in the gym working on his jumper in a recent video from a summer workout.

One of the silver linings from the Golden State Warriors disappointed campaign that saw them miss the playoffs in 2024 was the development of Jonathan Kuminga.

After a quiet first two seasons, the 21-year-old broke out during his third season in the association. After never averaging double-figures, Kuminga posted 16.1 points on 52.9% shooting from the field last season. The former G League Ignite forward added 4.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game.

Despite his encouraging step forward last season, Kuminga is already back in the gym early in the offseason. Kuminga’s trainer, Anthony Wells, shared a video on Instagram of Kuminga putting in work.

Kuminga was knocking down triples from the corner along with driving to the bucket on defenders.
