The signing day festivities haven’t concluded for Mel Tucker and Michigan State just yet. The Spartans announced the signing of another member of the 2021 recruiting class this afternoon in long snapper Hank Pepper.
Pepper is a native of Chandler, Arizona, and attends the Arizona football powerhouse Chandler High School.
He is ranked as the no. 1 long snapper according to 247Sports rankings and is a 5-star that ranks no. 2 in the nation according to the rankings done by Kohl’s professional camps. Kohl’s is a service that specializes in ranking specialists (kickers, punters and long snappers).

Pepper was previously committed to San Diego State before being flipped to Michigan State during this early signing period. He will be a welcomed addition to a punting team that has struggled this season.
