The 2020 NFL Draft is in the books and now it’s time for each rookie to put in the work and start their virtual workout process. Before they actually take the practice field down the road at some point, however, each player will need to choose a number.
Jacksonville Jaguars first-round pick K’Lavon Chaisson has already gotten a move on that process and did so by involving the fans. After learning he was going to be a Jaguar he took to Twitter to ask what number he should wear, and it looks like the results are in.
45 it is! Thanks for the help everyone. @Jaguars let’s lock it in. Ready to get to work! https://t.co/8Cgf3bzOvR

Of course, the No. 45 isn’t one Chaisson will have to ask a veteran for because it’s unoccupied and isn’t retired either. His choice would put him between linebacker Myles Jack and long-snapper Matthew Orzech who wear the numbers 44 and 46, respectively.
In other number related news, it appears free-agent linebacker Joe Schobert could be leaning towards occupying the next number in the aforementioned order, No. 47. He made a Twitter post today with a photoshopped image of himself donning the number in the Jags’ all white combination.
