Sacramento Kings at Golden State Warriors odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Wednesday’s Sacramento Kings at Golden State Warriors odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Sacramento Kings (2-1) visit the Golden State Warriors (3-1) on Wednesday. Tip from Chase Center is set for 10 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Kings vs. Warriors odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

Season series: Warriors lead 1-0

The Kings took down the Los Angeles Lakers 132-127 in overtime on Sunday to cover as 2.5-point home favorites. G De’Aaron Fox led all scorers with 37 points while F Domantas Sabonis tacked on a double-double (12 points, 15 rebounds). The Kings also got 22 points from G Malik Monk off the bench.

Golden State destroyed the New Orleans Pelicans 130-102 on Monday to cover as 3-point road underdogs. G Stephen Curry scored 42 points on 15-of-22 shooting and 7-of-13 shooting from 3. Playing without G Klay Thompson did not matter as 11 Warriors scored at least 5 points with 5 in double-digits.

Golden State beat Sacramento 122-114 last Friday to cover as 3.5-point road underdogs.

Kings at Warriors picks and predictions

Prediction

Warriors 116, Kings 107

Moneyline

PASS.

At -300 odds, the Warriors are the deserved favorites in this matchup after coming off a thrashing against the Pelicans and with the Kings missing Fox. The Warriors beat the Kings on the road mere days ago without Thompson and will have him back on Wednesday night.

Against the spread

BET WARRIORS -7.5 (-105).

As stated above, the Warriors have Thompson back while the Kings are missing Fox who has averaged 31.3 PPG this season. The Kings will have to rely on bench scoring to stay in this game and coming off an overtime game against the Lakers, will not have the stamina to stay involved. Do not be surprised Curry or Thompson catch fire given they are playing in front of their home crowd for just the 2nd time this season.

Over/Under

LEAN UNDER 226.5 (-110).

The Under is 6-3 in the last 9 matchups between the Kings and Warriors since last April. With Sacramento’s leading scorer out, it will be hard pressed to assist the point total forcing Golden State to carry the load. While Curry and company are capable of extending a lead and piling on points, expect a slower pace and less scoring for both sides.

Analyzing Sunday’s Golden State Warriors at Sacramento Kings Game 7 odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings play Game 7 of their Western Conference 1st-round series Sunday at Golden 1 Center. The series is tied 3-3 and the Kings have covered the spread in 4 of the 6 games.

The Warriors failed to cover as 6.5-point home favorites Friday in a 118-99 Game 6 loss vs. the Kings as the Under (236) hit. G Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 29 points, but their bench was outscored 52-21.

Malik Monk had 28 points off the bench for the Kings and G De’Aaron Fox added 26 points and 11 assists. Sacramento covered for the entire game and won on the road vs. Golden State for the 1st time since Feb. 25, 2020.

Warriors at Kings picks and predictions

Prediction

Kings 120, Warriors 111

Moneyline

PASS.

The Warriors have won just 11 road games this entire season. The Kings (-115) should win, but there is no need to pay the higher price on the moneyline when Sacramento would likely cover its short spread with a victory. Lay the points and/or bet the total instead.

Against the spread

BET KINGS -1.5 (-105).

The Warriors have been the least profitable away team ATS this season, covering at just 27.9% (12-31 ATS).

The Kings will be looking for their 1st playoff series win since 2004 and the home crowd may be overwhelming for a Warriors team that is just 16-38-1 ATS in its last 55 road games vs. teams with a winning home record.

Sacramento has been the better team this season and the market is undervaluing it due to the Warriors’ past success. The Kings should Light the Beam Sunday and score with ease vs. the Warriors’ 28th-ranked away defense.

Over/Under

BET OVER 230.5 (-110).

The Over is 38-14 in Golden State’s last 52 road games vs. teams with a winning home record and 25-11-1 in Sacramento’s last 37 at home vs. teams that are sub-.500 on the road.

The Over has hit in 5 of the Kings’ last 7 after a win by more than 10 points and should cash again Sunday as the Warriors continue to struggle defensively on the road.

Sacramento Kings at Golden State Warriors Game 6 odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Friday’s Sacramento Kings at Golden State Warriors odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Sacramento Kings and Golden State Warriors play Game 6 of their Western Conference 1st-round series Friday at Chase Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET (ESPN). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Kings vs. Warriors odds, and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

The Warriors lead the series 3-2 and the Kings have covered the spread in 3 of the 5 games.

The Kings failed to cover as 2-point home underdogs Wednesday in Game 5 in a 123-116 loss vs. the Warriors as the Over (233.5) hit. G De’Aaron Fox had 24 points despite playing with a broken finger on his shooting hand.

Stephen Curry scored a game-high 31 points as the Warriors won their 3rd straight after trailing 2-0 in the series.

Golden State is 37-13-1 against the spread in their last 51 home games vs. teams with a winning road record.

Prediction

Warriors 125, Kings 106

Moneyline

PASS.

The Warriors (-300) should close out the series Friday at Chase Center, but there is no need to pay the higher price on the moneyline when Golden State should win by margin. Bet the spread and/or total instead.

Against the spread

BET WARRIORS -7.5 (-110).

The Warriors are much more dangerous at home and are 40-17-1 ATS in their last 58 home games. Golden State should come out extra focused to close out the series at Chase Center and avoid playing a Game 7 on the road. Sacramento is a young team and may lack confidence after losing 3 straight games to the defending NBA champions. Look for Golden State to secure a double-digit lead early and to not let Sacramento back in the game.

Over/Under

BET UNDER 236.5 (-110).

The Under is 5-1 in Sacramento’s last 6 games after scoring 100 or more points in its previous contest and 4-1 in its last 5 on the road.

The Under has gone 17-7-1 in Golden State’s last 25 vs. teams with a winning record and should hit again Friday as the Warriors tighten up defensively to avoid playing a Game 7 on the road.

Sacramento Kings at Golden State Warriors Game 4 odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Sunday’s Sacramento Kings at Golden State Warriors odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Sacramento Kings and Golden State Warriors play Game 4 of their Western Conference 1st-round series Sunday at Chase Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET (ABC). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Kings vs. Warriors odds, and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

The Kings lead the series 2-1 straight up and against the spread (ATS).

The Kings failed to cover the spread as 6-point underdogs in Game 3 in a 114-97 loss at the Warriors. C Domantas Sabonis was cleared to play and finished with 15 points and 16 rebounds after Warriors F Draymond Green stepped on his chest in Game 2.

The Warriors covered in Game 3 despite missing 2 of their best defenders in Green (suspension) and Gary Payton II (illness). G Stephen Curry scored 36 points and C Kevon Looney had a career-high 20 rebounds.

Green is expected to play Sunday after serving his 1-game suspension.

Kings at Warriors picks and predictions

Prediction

Warriors 117, Kings 114

Moneyline

PASS.

Golden State (-350) has the 3rd-best winning percentage at home this season at 81% and should be able to pull out another win. However, the Warriors are being slightly overvalued on the moneyline vs. the Kings who are 4th in road-win percentage at 59.5%. Bet the spread and/or total instead.

Against the spread

BET KINGS +7.5 (-110).

The Kings are 1st in offensive efficiency this season and should bounce back after getting blown out while scoring just 97 points last time out. Sacramento is 4-1 ATS in its last 5 games after a loss by more than 10 points and 11-3 ATS in its last 14 on the road. The Warriors should let down after such a dominant performance and are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games after a win by more than 10 points.

Over/Under

BET UNDER 237.5 (-115).

The Under is 6-1 in Sacramento’s last 7 games and 4-0 in its last 4 on the road.

The Under has gone 9-3-1 in Golden State’s last 13 home games and 4-1-1 in the last 6 meetings between these teams. Look for Game 4 to be another low-scoring affair, especially with Golden State’s best 2 defenders expected to return.

Sacramento Kings at Golden State Warriors Game 3 odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Thursday’s Sacramento Kings at Golden State Warriors odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Sacramento Kings take on the Golden State Warriors Thursday at the Chase Center for Game 3 of their 1st-round playoff matchup. Tip-off is scheduled for 10 p.m. ET (TNT). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Kings vs. Warriors odds, and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

Sacramento leads the playoff series 2-0; won regular-season series 3-1

The Kings are now favored (-170) to win the series after Monday’s 114-106 victory in Sacramento. The Warriors shot 13-of-40 from 3, which while not great was way better than the Kings’ 9-of-38. The Kings did shoot 11 more free throws and had 6 fewer turnovers (14-20).

The Steve Kerr-led Warriors have never been down 0-2 in a series. On top of that F Draymond Green has been suspended for this game after stomping on Kings F Domontas Sabonis. But they are playing at home, which gives them the edge.

Kings at Warriors picks and predictions

Prediction

Kings 115, Warriors 104

Moneyline

Losing Draymond Green may not seem like a lot, he only averages 8.5 points and 7.2 rebounds, but his presence will be missed. This season the Warriors have just a .333 win percentage without Green suiting up.

The Kings have the 2nd-best road record this season (25-16). And it’s a chance to double-up.

LEAN KINGS +200.

Against the spread

Sacramento covered in 13 of the 20 games they played as a road underdog. Now the Warriors are certainly more formidable at home than on the road, but they are just 3-7 in their last 10 against teams above .500%.

The moneyline is a far better value, but if you need a little insurance, BET KINGS +5.5 (-110).

Over/Under

The Warriors have gone Under in 5 of their last 6 games after an ATS loss. The Kings also trend to the Under. They are 5-1 in their last 6 and 4-1 in their last 5 road games.

The 1st game in this series had a 249 total while Game 2 hit 220. And for  what’s worth, the 4 totals of the games between the teams this season: 255, 229, 237 and 216.

LEAN UNDER 240.5 (-110).

Sacramento Kings at Golden State Warriors odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Sunday’s Sacramento Kings at Golden State Warriors odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Golden State Warriors (1-1) welcome the Sacramento Kings (0-2) to the Chase Center Sunday. Tip is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the Kings vs. Warriors odds, and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

The Warriors are coming into this battle having lost their last outing to the Denver Nuggets. It was a 128-123 loss despite being down double figures for most of the 2nd half.

The Dubs opened their season with a 123-109 win over the Lakers. They’ll again be home before hitting the road for Phoenix. Two-time MVP G Stephen Curry leads the team with 67 points through 2 games.

The Kings, on the other hand, saw the first of rookie F Keegan Murray in their 2-point loss as 2.5-point home underdogs Saturday evening against the Clippers.

Kings at Warriors picks and predictions

Prediction

Warriors 123, Kings 109

Moneyline

PASS.

The Kings on the second night of a back-to-back and on the road. I’ll pass on predicting the upset in this one.

Against the spread

BET WARRIORS -10.5 (-108).

The Warriors sit 14th in the NBA in offensive rating, but they have superstars and should easily improve upon that. Similarly, through 2 games, the Kings sit 18th in defensive rating, so the opportunities for the home side should be there.

Also, Sacramento is coming off a tiring battle with the Clippers in which Fox and all 5 top players received over 30 minutes. Golden State sits 9th in effective field goal rate after being 3rd last season.

It has a roster that’s almost identical if not better than a season ago. Expect the Warriors’ firepower to widen the gap in this battle, especially as they haven’t played since Friday evening.

Over/Under

LEAN OVER 231.5 (-112).

The Kings rank 9th in pace, and they aren’t great defensively. Sabonis should get caught up frequently in the pick-and-roll and could allow Curry to get going in those matchups.

The Warriors have the scorers to run up the score on a weak defense, and with several young players, the Kings should want to keep the pace high till the end.

Sacramento Kings at Golden State Warriors odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Thursday’s Sacramento Kings at Golden State Warriors odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Sacramento Kings (19-34) visit Chase Center Thursday to take on the Golden State Warriors (39-13). Tip-off is scheduled for 10 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Kings vs. Warriors odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

After going 6-1 on a 7-game homestand, the Warriors took to the road and added two more wins to their resume. They covered the spread in both of those road victories, once as 9.5-point favorites (122-108 win at Houston Monday) and the other as 6.5-point underdogs (124-120 at San Antonio Tuesday).

Golden State’s 39-13 record is the second-best mark in the NBA, only trailing Phoenix (41-9). The Warriors’ 24-4 home record is the best in the league. As for covering, the Dubs are 29-20-3 against the spread (ATS).

The Warriors won 113-98 at home the last time these two teams met (Dec. 20), covering a -13.5 spread with PF Draymond Green recording a triple-double (16 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists), but he is out for this contest. The Kings will also be missing a key player in leading scorer PG De’Aaron Fox (21.0 points per game), who also sat out that December game.

The Kings are on the second night of a back-to-back Thursday. They beat the Nets 112-101 as 5-point home underdogs Wednesday, snapping a 7-game losing streak. The Kings are 23-30 ATS this season.

Kings at Warriors odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Warriors 114, Kings 107

Money line

PASS. At +750, the Kings are tempting due to the Warriors’ lack of size (2 of their 3 centers and potentially 3 of their power forwards are out).

However, considering how dominant the Warriors have been at home, I’d rather take the points with the spread below and hope for a close battle.

Against the spread

LEAN to the KINGS +13.5 (-105).

The Warriors’ frontcourt is banged up heavily right now. While Golden State did manage to beat the Spurs without many key players, they’ll be taking on a young, energetic Kings team that is starting two premier defenders.

Rookie PG Davion Mitchell scored 18 in 35 minutes against the Nets Wednesday. He should get all the minutes he can handle, and the same can be said of PG Tyrese Haliburton.

The Warriors have been so good at home good this season, and that’s priced into this action.

With a backdoor cover completely possible given the shooting of Kings star SG Buddy Hield, who comes off the bench, Sacramento is the better play here.

Over/Under

BET UNDER 224.5 (-107).

The Warriors have the best-rated defense in the NBA, and it only gets better at home. The Warriors are 5-5 O/U over their last 10 games and 20-31-1 O/U this season.

The Kings, who usually have O/U lines set relatively high, are 24-28-1 O/U. At home, Golden State’s O/U is 9-17-2. Considering that, I’d take fewer points in this battle.

Sacramento Kings at Golden State Warriors odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Monday’s Sacramento Kings at Golden State Warriors odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Sacramento Kings (13-18) travel to Chase Center Monday to take on the Golden State Warriors (24-6). Tip-off is scheduled for 10p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Kings vs. Warriors odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

The Warriors have yet to have a game canceled, but they’ll be without two of their top three scorers.

While the team is deep, without key starters, they were destroyed by the Raptors 119-100 Saturday. Golden State has been the second-best team ATS at 18-10-2, but their health is concerning.

As for the Kings, PG De’Aaron Fox is still in health and safety protocols, so he’ll miss time. Sacramento is just 14-17 ATS this season. Even at full strength, the Kings have one of the NBA’s worst defenses, which has plagued them for most of the season.

Kings at Warriors odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Warriors 110, Kings 104

Money line

PASS. At -1100, there’s no chance I bet a team down two of its top three scorers. For the Kings, down Fox is enough to make an upset improbable.

Against the spread

LEAN KINGS +12.5 (-110) as Fox’s absence will spark new opportunity.

Against the Spurs Sunday, PG Tyrese Haliburton and SG Buddy Hield controlled the majority of the offense. They’re quality shot makers, and without Poole or Wiggins, the Warriors may struggle to tame them.

The Warriors have the best defense in the league, but again, without Wiggins, who has been a crux for them on that end of the court, it could be completely different. The Kings have the second-worst defense in the NBA, but the Warriors absences should give them a slight break.

The health and safety issues will plague this game, and that should bode well for Sacramento bettors. Considering their offensive firepower and what Golden State is missing, it’s easy to envision them covering the spread in this one.

Over/Under

BET UNDER 221.5 (-107) as both teams are missing key pieces to their team. The Warriors will be asking players like SG Damion Lee and SF Otto Porter Jr., both of whom have struggled to score at times this season, to step up.

With PF Draymond Green the leader of the defense still active, he should have his way. Haliburton is also a quality, lengthy defender who should get the challenge of guarding Curry.

With the Warriors missing what could be four starters, I’d look to fewer points as both teams are playing lineups unfamiliar with each other and will be without key scorers.

Kings at Warriors: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Warriors 120, Kings 113

Money line (ML)

The Warriors (-450) will cost you four and a half times your potential return, and that’s just too much to back a .500 team, even if they are at home and expected to win.

PASS.

Against the spread (ATS)

The KINGS +9.5 (-110) is the play, as they should be able to keep this one inside single digits.

Sac-Town has cashed in three of its past four as underdogs of seven or more points. And the last time they faced the Warriors -9.5 (-110) at Golden 1 Center in California’s capital, the Kings came away with a 141-119 win.

Over/Under (O/U)

OVER 230.5 (-115) is the way to go, cashing in seven of the past 10 for the Kings on the road against teams with a winning home record.

They’re also rested, and the Over is 4-1 in their past five when working on three or more days of rest.

For the Dubs, while the Under is 4-1 in the past five overall, the Over has hit in four of the past five at home against teams with a losing road mark.

Sacramento Kings at Golden State Warriors odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Monday’s Sacramento Kings at Golden State Warriors NBA betting odds and lines, with basketball picks, tips and predictions.

The Sacramento Kings (3-3) visit the Golden State Warriors (3-3) Monday at 10 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze the Kings-Warriors NBA betting odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

Sacramento is coming off back-to-back losses at the Houston Rockets, falling 102-94 Saturday and 122-119 New Year’s Eve. PG De’Aaron Fox leads the Kings with 21.0 points, 6.2 assists and 1.7 steals per game, while PF Richaun Holmes is the top rebounder at 9.3 per game. Rookie PG Tyrese Haliburton (10.6 PPG, 4.4 APG), who sat out Saturday, isn’t expected to play Monday due to a wrist injury sustained in the first game against the Rockets.

Thanks to PG Stephen Curry’s career-high 62-points, Golden State had no problem with knocking off the Portland Trail Blazers 137-122 as a 4.5-point home underdog Sunday. Curry went 8-for-16 behind the 3-point line, 8-for-31 overall and 18-for-19 from the line. He finished just 2 points shy of Rick Barry’s franchise-record 64 points, which was set in 1974. The victory was a nice bounce-back game for the Warriors, who lost to the Trail Blazers 123-98 Friday in the opener of the two-game home set.

Sacramento swept last season’s series vs. Golden State 3-0, winning by margins of 21, 13 and 18. The Warriors had won the previous five vs. the Kings before that.

Kings at Warriors: Odds, betting lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Kings 116, Warriors 109

Money line (ML)

AVOID. The Kings (-140) have the advantage of having Sunday off while the Warriors played the Trail Blazers. However, I’m PASSING on a wager here and focusing on the spread.

Against the spread (ATS)

SACRAMENTO -2.5 (-110) is the STRONGEST PLAY – 1½ times your usual wager. Before the two-game losing trip to Houston, the Kings had defeated the Denver Nuggets twice during their 3-1 start to open the season. So, it’s no secret they’re a better team than the one that finished 31-41 last season.

If the Warriors hadn’t played Sunday, they’d actually be the lean here, but look for Golden State to run out of steam in the fourth quarter. We only need Sacramento to win by 3 or more points to cash a winning ticket in this one.

ATS records: Kings 4-2 | Warriors 2-4

Over/Under (O/U)

Back the UNDER 232.5 (-110). Sacramento averages 111.3 PPG; Golden State averages 113.0 PPG. A key matchup will be how Curry fares against the Kings’ 3-point defense, which ranks fifth in the league in allowing 32.9%.

Again, playing back-to-back nights will affect the Warriors in the second half this early in the season.

O/U records: Kings 3-3 | Warriors 3-3
