The Eagles have Super Bowl aspirations and with the safety position deal with multiple injuries, GM Howie Roseman went out and acquired a ball-hawk with Pro Bowl credential.
According to multiple media outlets, Philadelphia acquired safety Kevin Byard from the Tennessee Titans for two 2024 late round picks and safety Terrell Edmunds.
Byard is versatile and has been one of the NFL’s true tough guys since entering the league, playing in every game since being drafted and not missing a start since Week 10 of his rookie year.
Byard’s made at least one solo tackle in 116 of the 120 regular season games he’s played in a Titans uniform and made 44 tackles with an interception and two pass breakups in seven playoff games.
With Byard likely to arrive late Monday night or Tuesday morning, here’s the national reaction to the blockbuster addition.
