The Chiefs are the midseason favorites at +350 to win a second straight Super Bowl. They’d be the first team since the 2003-04 New England Patriots to lift consecutive Lombardi Trophies. Their odds have dropped from +650 ahead of training camps.

Outside of the Chiefs’ surprise loss to the Raiders in Week 5, there has been little not to like about their game. QB Patrick Mahomes continues to be the class of his position following his Super Bowl MVP win. He is completing 66.9% of his passes with 2,315 yards and 21 touchdowns against just one interception through eight games.

Rookie RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire has 572 yards and 2 touchdowns on 121 carries. TE Travis Kelce has a team-high receiving 610 yards and WR Tyreek Hill leads with 7 receiving touchdowns.

Defensively, the Chiefs’ 19.0 points allowed per game has them ranked third. They share the top spot in the NFL with 14 takeaways on the season and have a league-best plus-9 turnover differential.

Chiefs division betting odds

  • Kansas City Chiefs -2500
  • Las Vegas Raiders +1000
  • Denver Broncos +6500
  • Los Angeles Chargers +15000

No team is more heavily favored to win their division than the Chiefs are to win the AFC West. They’re shooting for a fifth straight division title. Even though the Raiders currently hold the head-to-head tiebreaker, Kansas City will almost certainly be favored in the Week 11 rematch in Las Vegas off a Week 10 bye. The Chiefs will be hard-pressed to even lose two more games in the regular season.

PASS on a divisional bet for the Chiefs. It’s Super Bowl or bust for head coach Andy Reid’s squad again this year.
