Best photos from Auburn’s close loss to Tennessee

Auburn was unable to make enough shots to pick up the road win.

The No. 23 Auburn Tigers gave the No. 2 Tennessee Volunteers everything they wanted Saturday but were unable to make enough shots to pull off the upset, falling 46-43 in Knoxville.

The Tigers shot just 23.6% from the field and an abysmal 3-of-27 from 3-point range. Despite the tough offensive performance, the Tiger’s defense was able to keep them in the game, holding them to 27% shooting.

Auburn started the game a perfect 3-for-3 from the floor and stormed out to an early 8-0 lead before the offense cooled off. They finished with just 19 first-half points and trailed 23-19 at the half.

[autotag]Johni Broome[/autotag] and [autotag]K.D. Jonnson[/autotag] were the only Tigers to make it into double figures, scoring 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Auburn is now 17-6 overall and 7-3 in SEC play, here is a look at the best photos from the game.
