The redshirt sophomore could have entered this year’s NFL draft.
Daniels return is absolutely huge for the Bulldogs who spent most of the season searching for an answer at quarterback before starting the USC transfer Daniels in game 7 versus Mississippi State.
Daniels went on to throw for 401 yards and 4 touchdowns in a 31-24 win over the Bulldogs from Starkville, which provided Georgia with the offensive spark it needed.
Daniels finished the season with 1,231 yards and 10 touchdowns with 2 interceptions in only four games.
Let’s see what he can do with an entire offseason to prepare under offensive coordinator Todd Monken, because the weapons that will be around Daniels next season are talented to say the least.
George Pickens, Kearis Jackson, Jermaine Burton, Darnell ‘Big O’ Washington, Arian Smith, and Dominick Blaylock will all be back and primed for the 2021 season.
