The Tampa Bay Buccaneers added some depth to their backfield in last month’s draft by selecting running back Ke’Shawn Vaughn out of Vanderbilt in the third round and Louisiana running back Raymond Calais in the seventh round.
The pair will join Ronald Jones to help bolster the Bucs’ run game, and Jones himself is looking to be a big contributor after a solid 2019 campaign. The former 2018 second-round pick had a decent sophomore season, finishing the year with 724 rushing yards and six touchdowns on 172 carries. Jones managed to take over the starting role before the season ended, and with Peyton Barber now a Redskin, Jones will be looked upon to be the veteran leader of this running back group.
And what better way to celebrate his new role than with a new look? Jones and the rest of the Buccaneers will be sporting new uniforms in 2020, and based on this tweet from Jones, he seems to be a big fan of the new look.
