Over the preseason, each profile will cover where the player is from, how recruiting websites rated them coming out of high school, and what role they will play for Brian Kelly this season.

He competed for the starting job last fall and ultimately lost to [autotag]Slade Roy[/autotag], one of the nation’s better long snappers in 2022. He’ll compete for a starting job again this fall, though he’s likely to be a backup.
