The Chargers will have to defend Justin Fields and the Steelers without Joey Bosa in the second half.

Bosa has been ruled out with a hip injury, which limited him in practice this week. The former Defensive Rookie of the Year reaggravated the injury on the first defensive play of the game while battling with Steelers right tackle Broderick Jones.

Bosa first popped up on the injury report last week with what was initially listed as a back issue, but played through it in limited fashion against the Panthers. The Chargers then updated the injury report to call it a hip injury for Bosa going into Week 3.

With Bosa out, the Chargers will rely on Tuli Tuipulotu and Bud Dupree opposite Khalil Mack, who has the only sack of Fields so far today. The Chargers and Steelers are currently tied at 10 in the third quarter.

If the injury lingers, Tre’Mon Morris-Brash is the only other option available for the Chargers off the practice squad. Chris Rumph II and Chris Collins are on season-ending injured reserve.
