The Jets will be without one of their promising rookies when they begin preseason play Saturday night, as Elijah Moore is out with a groin injury against the Giants, according to Jets reporter Ethan Greenberg.
Moore tweaked his groin in practice during the week leading up to Gang Green’s preseason opener. The injury is not considered to be serious, though, and Moore could potentially be back on the field when the Jets travel to Green Bay for joint practices with the Packers next week. With Moore sidelined, Keelan Cole will start at wide receiver opposite Corey Davis.
Other notable players who won’t suit up for the Jets are Tevin Coleman, Alijah Vera-Tucker, Braxton Berrios, Isaiah Dunn and Ronald Blair.
Don't see #Jets RB Tevin Coleman dressed for #NYJvsNYG.

The Giants will — largely by design — be without a good amount of their starters on both sides of the ball. Saquon Barkley returned to practice during the week after tearing his ACL last season, but is not yet ready to return to game action.
