Nebraska football landed a commitment from East Tennessee State defensive lineman Jaylen George on Tuesday. George was a first-team all-conference selection in 2024. He had 33 total tackles, six for loss, and half a sack. George will have three years to play two seasons of football.
This addition gives Nebraska a veteran presence on the defensive line. The 2025 class has been highly-touted, especially at the defensive line position. Adding a player of George’s caliber will help develop the class and help the defensive line prepare for the future.
This is the third transfer portal commitment that Nebraska football has had over the past couple of days. They have several visitors on the way, as they look to continue to fill holes on their roster. One has to wonder what other moves the program will make over the next couple of days, as the transfer portal continues to heat up.
