The world is in mourning following the news that former Bears quarterback Jay Cutler and wife Kristin Cavallari are getting a divorce after 10 years of marriage.
Cutler played eight seasons for the Bears before being released in 2016, and his time in Chicago was certainly a memorable one.
Still, Bears fans have followed Cutty in his post-Bears career, which included a one-year stint with the Miami Dolphins and his appearance on Very Cavallari.
And following news of Cutler and Cavallari’s divorce, people are taking it harder than expected.

While Cutler’s NFL career was controversial, he redeemed himself in the eyes of many with his reality TV career.
Cutler rose to reality TV fame on his wife’s show Very Cavallari, where he quickly stole the show and the show gained a whole new following — sports fans.
Naturally, people are upset at the thought of Cutler not appearing on our screens anymore — and some have suggested Cutler get his own reality TV show.
If Jay Cutler’s divorce means he won’t be on reality tv anymore… my week is ruined.

The biggest casualty of Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler’s divorce is no more Jay content on the reality show pic.twitter.com/nzzruNP81S

I’ll never recover if Jay Cutler isn’t on reality TV anymore

Following his release from the Bears in 2016, Cutler made the decision to hit the broadcast booth as an announcer in 2017. But those plans were put on hold when he took the Dolphins up on their offer to be their starting quarterback.
Now, some are clamoring for Cutler’s return to the broadcast booth.
Jay Cutler probably on the phone with FOX, ESPN and CBS this morning asking if those analyst jobs are still open

The idea of Jay Cutler as TV analyst on games already had potential. “Possibly bitter over divorce but also hooking up with women who watched the reality show Jay” showing up 5 minutes before kickoff to be an analyst? Just put him on the worst game each week and make magic, FOX.

Someone even suggested getting Cutler back on the market — and in a reality television format, where we can appreciate him.
Jay Cutler should be the next Bachelor. If you disagree we are not friends.

Patriots fans, meanwhile, are trying to recruit him to New England, who is in need of a starting quarterback to succeed sure-fire Hall of Famer Tom Brady.
I hear Jay Cutler’s gonna have some free time on his hands @Patriots
