Jason Peters finished the 2019 NFL as one of the highest-graded tackles in the NFL and despite slippage in his play, he was still a valuable asset to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Immediately after the Eagles 17-9 loss to the Seattle Seahawks at Lincoln Financial Field, Peters put the onus on team management, making it clear that he wasn’t ready to retire, and in fact, doubling down saying that he would return to the NFL in 2020.
Jason Peters said he’s not yet ready to retire. Wants to play next season because he knows he can still do it. Wouldn’t say he would only return for the #Eagles.

When asked if he’d play for another team, Peters stated that he’d only play for the Eagles. Peters gave no word on whether he’d be cool with being a backup at this stage in his career.
