Two NASCAR drivers arrested for separate incidents in August 2023

Two NASCAR drivers have been arrested for separate incidents that took place in August 2023.

The arrests of two part-time NASCAR drivers came to the public knowledge on Wednesday, August 16. Both drivers have competed in the NASCAR Truck Series at least one time during the 2023 season.

[autotag]Jason A White[/autotag], who last drove for TRICON Garage on February 18, was arrested on August 3 and later charged with a DWI (Driving While Impaired). White is set to be in court on September 6 with charges of Speeding, Reckless Driving to Endanger, Exceeding Safe Speed, and the DWI, which was previously mentioned.

[autotag]Chris Hacker[/autotag], who last drove for On Point Motorsports on August 11, was arrested on August 15 and later charged with a DWI. Hacker is set to be in court on September 19th with charges of Speeding, Reckless Driving to Endanger, Failure to Wear Seat Belt, and the DWI, which was previously mentioned.

Hacker was previously scheduled to drive the No. 07 car for SS-Greenlight Racing in this weekend’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Watkins Glen International but the organization has switched its driver to Josh Bilicki.

Both cases have been confirmed by the North Carolina Judicial Branch’s official website and at this point in time, NASCAR has not made any comments or issued any discipline.
