Alabama MBB offers 2024 4-Star CG Jase Richardson

2024 combo guard Jase Richardson received an offer from Alabama last Thursday. Richardson is ranked as the No. 46 recruit in the country by 247Sports.

The Alabama coaching staff extended one of its latest offers to 2024 combo guard Jase Richardson.

Richardson plays for Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. Despite being a junior, Richardson has already received 10 offers.

At 6-foot-2, 165 pounds, Richardson can either the 1 or 2 spot on the floor. One thing that Alabama head coach Nate Oats likes is versatility. Richardson brings that to the table with his style of play.

Michigan State currently has a 50.5% likelihood to land Richardson’s commitment, according to On3’s RPM.

Another prospect that Alabama is battling Michigan State for is 2024 four-star power forward Aiden Sherrell. Both recruitments should be worth keeping a close eye on in the coming months.

Michigan State basketball: Who’s next in the 2024 recruiting class

MSU already has 2 commits in their 2024 recruiting class, check out who could be next:

Michigan State picked up their second commitment of the 2024 recruiting class on Thursday, picking up Ohio big man Jesse McCulloch. McCulloch joins fellow 4-star Kur Teng, a wing from Massachusetts.

McCulloch and Teng are two solid prospects to start with in 2024, but now it is time for Izzo and company to round out their recruiting class.

The Spartans almost surely will be picking up a 3rd player in the class, but I would not be surprised if they want another 4-man class in 2024.

Positionally, I do not expect the Spartans to pursue a point guard, being well off at that position. The center spot is also a 50/50 whether Izzo pursues, but adding another wing appears to be the direction MSU for sure will go in.
