Tennessee Titans add former Vol James Wilhoit.

The Tennessee Titans have kicked off training camp ahead of the 2021 season.

The Titans have added former Volunteer kicker James Wilhoit to its staff.

Wilhoit’s title with the Titans has not been determined.

“I think that anything we can do to help guys do their job better is what we’re going to try to do,” Tennessee head coach Mike Vrabel said. “(After) meeting with Auk (special teams coach Craig Aukerman) – and we looked at a few guys – (we feel) that he can assist us as we move forward toward the season. We’ll do our best and I know we’ll find guys that are going to make some field goals.”

Wilhoit played for the Vols from 2003-06. He came to the University of Tennessee from Hendersonville High School in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

Wilhoit went undrafted in the 2007 NFL draft. He signed with Baltimore as a rookie free agent.
