The Thaddeus Moss and Joe Burrow reunion is here

The gang is getting back together again in Cincinnati.

There’s been plenty of talk of LSU wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase potentially joining the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2021 NFL Draft, but there’s another Tigers reunion already in store.

The Bengals announced on Monday afternoon that they had claimed former LSU tight end Thaddeus Moss off of waivers after he was recently let go by the Washington Football Team.

Moss was an undrafted free agent in 2020 and spent the whole season on injured reserve with a foot injury that was found at the 2020 scouting combine.

Moss has a high ceiling and was impressive at LSU, especially with quarterback Joe Burrow throwing passes to him.

Over the course of 12 games on an undefeated 2019 season that was capped off with a national championship victory, Moss caught 47 passes for 570 yards and four touchdowns.

It will be interesting to see if Moss and Burrow can get that type of magic going again — and if Chase will ultimately join the party on April 29 when the draft officially begins.

Chase has already said that he wouldn’t mind re-joining Burrow, and that from what he has seen of Bengals film, that he believes Cincinnati runs some of LSU’s old stuff.

We can only imagine that they’ll be running a lot more of it with the new addition of Moss and the very possible addition of Chase.
