Rockets fans can’t get enough of rookie Jae’Sean Tate this season

Tate pulled off an acrobatic finish on Monday versus the Thunder that had fans talking on social media during the game.

Jae’Sean Tate entered the 2020-21 season as a little-known player to the masses, but the undrafted forward is quickly changing that perception and is emerging as a key player for the Houston Rockets.

Through 19 games, Tate is averaging 8.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 25.5 minutes. He recently earned the trust of Rockets head coach Stephen Silas, and has started each of the last seven games with the team due to his rebounding and trustworthiness.

On Monday, Tate continued his strong play after producing 11 points, seven rebounds and four assists in a win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Perhaps most impressive, Tate was a pest on defense, finishing a plus-25 on the court, while he made several hustle plays.

The play of Tate has engulfed Rockets fans this season with his infectious energy and effort on any given play. Tate turned in a nifty up and under finish with his left hand that had the Rockets faithful talking on social media, among his highlights from Monday.
