Harvard offensive lineman Jacob Rizy is generating some legitimate interest from Power Five program. One of the top offensive tackles in the Ivy League over the past two years, Rizy is likely to make a jump in competition.
Last season, Rizy was a second-team All-Ivy League selection. This fall, he made the first team. He has been a starter at Harvard the past two years.
On Monday, Rizy entered the transfer portal with two years of eligibility remaining. He said two Power Five programs have entered his recruitment so far but no offers as of yet.
“I’ve talked the most with Vanderbilt and Duke so far,” Rizy said.
Rizy played for Staples High School (Westport, Connecticut) where he was a two-year starter on the football team. He was also an accomplished wrestler.

In terms of what he is looking for at the next level, Rizy said he wants to win games.
“The best opportunity to compete at the highest level and to win games/championships,” Rizy said.
