After reports that Indiana may be without a key piece on Thursday night, confirmation came in just around an hour before tip that sophomore guard Armaan Franklin will miss tonight’s game. He suffered an ankle injury that forced him out against Maryland, and has not fully healed. Zach Osterman of the IndyStar was first to report the news:
Armaan Franklin is not expected to dress for tonight's game at Wisconsin, after suffering an ankle injury Monday vs. Maryland. Hoosiers without their second-leading scorer in Madison. Tipoff at 7. #iubb

With Franklin out, Indiana loses 12.7 points per game, over four rebounds, and significantly their best three-point shooter. The focus for Indiana turns even more towards leading scorer Trayce Jackson-Davis to provide offense on the interior.
The Hoosiers and Badgers are scheduled to tip off at 6 PM CT at the Kohl Center.
